Marcia L. Brauchler, MPH, FACMPE, CPC-P, COC, CPC-I, CPHQ is the Founder and President of Physicians' Ally, Inc., a health-care consulting and specialized boutique billing firm in Denver, Colorado. Physicians’ Ally, Inc. has worked with clients in all 50 states and has achieved 25 years in business. She advises physicians and practice administrators on managed care contracts, reimbursement, and coding. Her prior experience includes working with non-profit HMO operations management, hospital administration, and as the Executive Director of several Colorado Independent Practice Associations. Ms. Brauchler is a published author and national speaker on contract negotiations, compliance regulations, coding issues, Medigap standardization, and marketing physician practices. She earned her B.S. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California at Los Angeles and in 2014, she received her Fellowship (FACMPE) in the American College of Medical Practice Executives from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Ms. Brauchler is a licensed instructor with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), a member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and has been a governor appointee to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Strategic Task Force for statewide health reform and the Board of the State’s Uninsurable Health Insurance Plan. In March 2020, she launched a partnership with the University of Denver to teach her CPC Exam Prep Course. The course currently resides online and can be accessed on demand. The primary focus of Physicians’ Ally, Inc. is contract negotiation and credentialing for clients.
